Nothing on our Site constitutes a binding offer or guarantee of service. All service engagements are subject to a separate written agreement between you and San Luis Obispo Sunrooms & Patios executed prior to the start of any work.
Estimates provided by San Luis Obispo Sunrooms & Patios - whether given verbally, by email, or in a written estimate document - are not binding contracts. All prices are subject to change based on final project scope, material costs, site conditions discovered during construction, and any changes requested by the customer after the estimate is issued.
A written contract or work order will be provided before any work begins. This document will include the agreed project scope, materials, and total price. We encourage customers to review all contract documents carefully and ask questions before signing. No work will begin until a written agreement is signed by both parties.
Changes to the scope of work requested after a contract is signed may result in additional charges. All change orders must be agreed to in writing by both parties before additional work proceeds.
Project start dates are estimates based on our current schedule and permit approval timelines. We will make reasonable efforts to meet the projected start date, but we are not liable for delays caused by permit processing times, weather, material availability, or other factors outside our control.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance by calling (805) 269-8472 or emailing contact@sanluisobisposunrooms.com.
If you wish to cancel a signed contract, cancellation terms will be outlined in your written agreement. Any costs already incurred for permits, custom materials, or site preparation at the time of cancellation may not be refundable.
Payment terms, including deposit amounts and the payment schedule, will be specified in your written contract. A deposit is typically required before work begins. Final payment is due upon project completion and customer acceptance of the finished work. Late payments may be subject to interest or fees as specified in your contract.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any required HOA or permit approvals are obtained before project commencement. We are not responsible for delays or costs arising from unapproved work due to missing HOA or permit authorizations that were the customer's responsibility to obtain.
For projects that require a building permit, San Luis Obispo Sunrooms & Patios will apply for and manage the permit process with the relevant city or county building department. Permit fees are typically billed to the customer as part of the project cost. Projects will not begin construction until all required permits are issued.
All work performed by San Luis Obispo Sunrooms & Patios will be completed in accordance with applicable California building codes and local municipal requirements. Customers are responsible for disclosing any known property conditions, easements, or restrictions that may affect the project. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in additional costs or project delays.
Any warranty offered by San Luis Obispo Sunrooms & Patios will be specified in your written contract. Unless otherwise stated in writing, our work is warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of one year from the date of project completion. This warranty covers only defects resulting from our installation or workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, acts of nature, misuse, or modifications made to the work by anyone other than San Luis Obispo Sunrooms & Patios.
Manufacturer warranties on materials and products installed as part of your project are separate from our workmanship warranty and are subject to the terms of each manufacturer. We will provide available manufacturer warranty documentation upon project completion.
THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, San Luis Obispo Sunrooms & Patios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of our Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for damage to property that is concealed, inaccessible, or not reasonably discoverable prior to the start of work, including underground utilities, hidden structural defects, or pre-existing conditions.
We encourage customers to contact us directly if they have a concern or complaint about our services. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through mediation before pursuing any other legal remedy.
Any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms or our services must be filed in the appropriate courts located in San Luis Obispo County, California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts for this purpose.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of California.
